Questions, answered
What is a topical map?+
A topical map is the plan of every cluster, topic, subtopic and keyword your site should cover to be seen as an authority in its niche. Covering a subject end to end — with internal links between related posts — helps search engines trust your site for the whole topic, not just one page.
Where does the keyword data come from?+
Search volume and CPC come from Google Ads Keyword Planner (average monthly searches). Every keyword on the map has at least 1,000 searches a month. Domain Rating comes from Ahrefs.
How is keyword difficulty calculated?+
Difficulty (KD) is an estimate from search volume, cost-per-click, advertiser competition and query length — high-demand, high-CPC head terms score hardest. We compare it with your Domain Rating to mark each keyword winnable, stretch or out of reach for your site.
Why are some clusters locked?+
Every map has 4 clusters. The first two are free instantly; the other two unlock when you sign in to a free RankOrg account — no card — and stay unlocked for you after that.
Can I export the map?+
Yes. Sign in free, then download every keyword with its cluster, topic, subtopic, intent, volume, CPC, KD and rankability as a CSV, or share the report link.
